DESPAIR

Flowing through the sights of despair;
Thought should i concentrate a little,
On clouds of hope that gather around
To make a little shade on me

Flowers around instill confidence in me
Dont they wither without discomfiture within
Why cant i follow the same?
Didnt i come to play the same game????

But Ego within is creating a storm,
Is eager to come out to blow all forms,
What should i do to let it hold,
Nay,it is not in my control anymore.

O Allah,Tell me what should i do now,
I fear i might blow myself,
in this self consuming Fire of self glory
Nay,This was not for what you sent me,
But deviated from the path i am from what i see

Help me out from this darkness of self,
Take me under guidance of your SELF
Your Mercy has always been with me,
However wretched my self has been.

O Allah,Extinguish the fire of Self glory within
Ignite the fire of humility to win

LIGHT

Sliding through the morning sky
Mersmerised by Sun i am.
How it manages to shine so bright
To turn the world from Darkness to Light
God has chosen it to shine on earth
Amongst the Bounties the heavens have

So be the light the sun is
And turn the world towards light,
You are the sun,the moons take light wherefrom
SO my Beloved!Shine yourself making others shine
To make a world where no one whines
Light is yours for the taking
If only you chose to become one,
So take it and light the world therewith
And Quell the darkness of Self with it.
